initial performances on an array of percussion are overlayed with further explorations on acoustic guitar, mandolin, and vocals. everything here could be said to be improvised, as each overdub was composed in real time, but each one was done while listening to the already-recorded tracks (with the exception of "Colobraskotana", which is a superimposition of five unrelated improvisations).
