a few days after the Brexit result, i noticed that Jeremy Corbyn and Billy Joel appeared next to each other as trending topics on the Yahoo! (the best search engine) homepage. realizing that this was probably the only time in history that those two names would have any relation to each other, i quickly screen capped it. then i realized that "Jeremy Corbyn and Billy Joel" was a perfect concept for an FKMLB album, but unfortunately, Karl is in Bavaria for the next several weeks, and i wanted this to be a timely release, so i decided to go at it alone because after all, in 2016, what is "topical" one moment might be completely old hat the next! anyway, over the next 24 hours, through a combination of live instrumentation, MIDI programming, and extensive sampling, i assembled this... thing. hope you enjoy.
